RESIDENCE REGISTRATION IN KYIV IS NOT A BASIS FOR REFUSING THE STATUS OF AN INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSON (IDP).

Unfortunately, internally displaced persons in Ukraine became a mass phenomenon back in 2014 and received a new and even bigger surge in 2022. Today, IDP status is required for various kinds of assistance in a new place of residence. However, IDPs are confronted with another problem - lack of residence permit. As of today there is no special registry for displaced persons in Ukraine.
